Obi Onyeajunwanne-Ibrahim

Director of Operations

Obi Onyeajunwanne-Ibrahim is the Director of Operations at NOIPolls.

 

She has over 10 years’ experience in Operations and Administration. As Director of Operations at NOIPolls, she is responsible for the management of staff and liaison with superiors to make decisions for operational activities.

Before NOIPolls, Obi was the Executive Assistant to the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy at the Federal Ministry of Finance, Abuja Nigeria where she was responsible for information management support, screening and prioritizing of correspondence and management of the Minister’s schedule. Her duties also covered representation of the Minister’s Office at several fora, report preparation, filing and organization of documents, research and memo preparation and management of clerical staff and office supplies.

 

As part of the Minister’s frontline operations team, Obi assisted in the coordination of sister financial government institutions for the preparation of the Ministry’s end-of-tenure report including researching into the merits and demerits of extant financial regulations. As Special Assistant to the MD/CEO on Governmental Affairs at the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, Obi was the liaison between the CEO and related government institutions. She was further responsible for the management of appointments and correspondence, preparation of briefing sheets for meetings and conferences and the scheduling and logistics for meetings. Obi was able to secure a more responsive relationship between the NSIA and related investment establishments during her time at the NSIA.​

Obi holds the BSc in Physics from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology and a Postgraduate Degree in Geology from the University of Port-Harcourt. She holds an MBA from the Birmingham Business School, United Kingdom.

Obi is passionate about charity work for the less privileged in the society with focus on women empowerment and education for the girl-child. By personal endeavors, she has helped several girls complete their senior secondary school education in terms of financing and leadership skills.
