Hamza Kabir

Head, Field Operations

Hamza is the Head of Field Operations at NOIPolls Limited, a position he has held since joining the organization since 2013. He has over 19 years work experience in professional services, consulting, socio-economic, health and market research, in the areas of qualitative and quantitative research and field management.

Prior to joining NOIPolls, Hamza was a research executive and the Head of Unit at Market Research Consultancy Ltd Nigeria. He managed PAN Nigeria Projects for Nigerian Breweries, Coco Cola, Niger rite, Dulux paints, Total, Oando etc.  Hamza has led several surveys and assignments for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) funded programs such as ENABLE, FOSTER, GEMS, NSRP, Solar Nigeria, SPARC and NIAF. He has also managed US State Department funded surveys on the Niger Delta, the World Bank, International Republican Institute (IRI), and the German and Japanese development agencies GIZ, JICA, Federal Ministry of Health, University of Manitoba, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Princeton Univeristy amongst others. Hamza was a national expert for the GFA Consulting Group, Consultant for Central Bank Anchor Borrowers program, Consultant for International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

 

He is an experienced focus group moderator in different languages and also delivers quality reports. Hamza is a very experienced researcher who has handled both quantitative and qualitative research assignments. And managers a team of over 2000 field staff across Nigeria and some parts of West Africa.

He holds degrees in Banking and Finance, PGD Peace and Conflict resolution and master’s in marketing, Masters in Peace and Conflict resolution and Masters in Disasters management. Hamza has been exposed to diverse research methods and has worked with a variety of clients in different industries. He is proficient in data collection using electronic data capture devices, having been in charge of numerous research projects for a leading multinational in Nigeria that required daily tracking. He has worked in all states in Nigeria and has travelled to work on different projects in Togo, Ghana, Benin Republic, Abidjan, Cameroon, Mali etc.

Hamza is passionate about learning new languages and speaks English, Hausa, Yoruba, Pidgin and Ebira fluently. He is an avid tennis player who also enjoys reading and traveling.
